When to extract pages instead of splitting the whole PDF
Extracting pages lets you keep a specific subset of a document — say, just a contract's appendix, or one chapter of a manual — without generating multiple files the way splitting a PDF by ranges does. The result is a single new document with exactly the pages you chose.
It's the right tool when you need to share only part of a larger document: sending just the relevant section of a report to a colleague, isolating the forms you need to fill out from a longer PDF, or building an excerpt with the key slides of a long presentation.
